What a cute concept, a lovely little coffee shop within one of my favorite bookstores. This is how I love spending my spare time. I’ve had a Cortado here (solid) but my favorite is the affogato. Have gotten it a few times. Love this place! Perfect view of the harbor too with ample seating. EDIT: I love this place! But half the time I go, they seem to not have any ice cream in stock? I think when that happens, they should remove the affogato from the menu for the day. The other coffee options are great, but it’s a bit unfortunate.

I moved out of Boston a few years ago and used to stop at Travelmug when they were just a coffee cart in Eastie. Upon a recent visit back to Boston, I noticed they now have a full cafe in a bookstore. It’s such a big, bright, and creative space. The matcha with brown sugar cold foam was delicious and sticker on the cup so cute!

The most incredible hidden gem in the Boston Seaport. Went over with a coworker after we heard about the coffee and matcha flights, and BOY did they live up to the expectation. Such a clever business model, quality drinks, and tons of fun baked goods from various vendors. Cannot wait to go back for the coffee flight!

The woman checking me out helped me create the perfect drink — a strawberry chai dirty latte!! it was delicious. Woman-owned and operated, they’re so nice!!!

My favorite café in Seaport for a relaxing afternoon. Been coming here for the past few months. Seaport is filled with chain coffee shops, so finding a good independent spot in the area has been a challenge. Travel Mug Café isn’t a specialty coffee shop, so the drinks are just average—Starbucks might even be better—but they’re affordable. Most importantly, it offers a fantastic harbor view from the window seats, something none of the other spots provide. The regular menu doesn’t have an extensive drink selection, but I did enjoy their seasonal lattes for St. Paddy’s Day—especially the cereal latte with marshmallow foam. Since it’s part of a bookstore, it’s the perfect place to spend hours reading while soaking in the view. Highly recommend checking them

the vibes here are SOOO good. Parking is a beast around the bay (and expensive). Street parking is definitely the way to go if you are going here. The drink I ordered was the thin mint mocha cold brew. However, I’m a wuss and hate bitter drinks so I made this cold brew into a latte. I got it with almond milk and they even put a little peep on top of it! The drink looked so cute and tasted AMAZING. I didn’t get any food, but I did see that they sold pre-packaged half cookies (which are also amazing). This was also the first coffee place I went to wear I bought their merch because it’s the cutest I’ve seen. I love my new crewneck and I’ll definitely be returning for more lattes! Overall, a 9/10.

I love coming to this cafe! Not only are the specials so creative, but even their normal menu has lots of great options! There's tons of fun flavors to choose from, but none of them are overly sweet. Really amazing cafe, and I love all the Baristas! They are all so sweet and make my day!
